Your files can be uploaded to WeTransfer or emailed to aw@alexanderwright.com

Please Note: Upon submission of this form I will contact you with any mix feedback I have, along with a delivery date for your masters and an email invoice via Square.

Alternate mixes must be sent at the same time as the main mix or they will be billed at full price. Mix revisions requiring re-mastering are billed at 50% of the initial price. Payment in full is required before mastering begins. Revisions on my end are free with a limit of 3 revisions per song.

Mix Preparation: I go into detail regarding mix prep on my FAQ page, but in general I can work with any unlimited lossless file that isn’t clipping. It’s best to avoid mix buss processing for the sake of loudness alone, and please make sure you’ve triple checked your audio for any bounce errors before you upload it.

Delivery Formats: My rate includes a CD quality 16 bit / 44.1 kHz WAV along with a 24 bit / native sample rate version. These days most distributors will allow you to upload the higher quality 24 / 48+ version. I also include a reference MP3 with every master for easy sharing and listening.

Apple Digital Masters: When working with ADM your source material should be recorded and mixed at the highest bit depth and sample rate possible. Some distributors such as DistroKid, TuneCore, and CD Baby openly support ADM but if you’re using a different distributor you should ask them if they work with this format. When I deliver your masters I will provide my unique authentication key which compatible distributors can use to ensure the files are played back correctly.

DDP Image: If you plan to have your masters pressed to compact disc, most reputable pressing plants will accept a DDPi production master. This is a file container which includes all the information necessary for CD creation - your mastered music alongside precise information related to the spacing, naming, and order of your songs.

Vinyl Pre-Master: Having a set of masters created specifically for vinyl cutting will preemptively address some of the physical limitations of the vinyl medium while providing the cutting engineer with an ideal master for making a great sounding record.

Track Sequence: If you are sending an album or EP to be mastered, please let me know the order of songs along with their correct titles (with exact spelling, capitalization, etc.) Additionally, if some of the songs overlap, are gapless or have specific spacing, fade-in and fade-out notes please include timestamps!

Directions: If you’d like to share your previously released music and / or reference tracks you’re inspired by, please feel free to provide streaming links here. My job is to help you achieve your creative vision so let me know if there is a specific vibe, loudness target, or other goal you have in mind.
