Alexander Wright Mastering
“Seattle mastering • Independent & 5-star rated • Apple Digital Masters certified • Top 1% worldwide”
Hi, I’m Alex, and I help artists put the final touches on their music.
I know how hard it is—especially for self-releasing artists—to find someone you trust. With so many mastering options out there, it’s tough to know who’s the real deal.
I take a different approach: one built on experience, careful listening, and a method I’ve refined over years to help your music reach its full potential. No presets. No algorithms. Just thoughtful, tailored mastering from someone who truly cares.

Based in Seattle, I master records for artists worldwide — from local studios to a new wave of indie singer-songwriters. Credits range from David Kushner’s breakout hit Miserable Man to Andi, Scott Frenzel, and hundreds of other rising artists. With over 1,700 masters and 2 billion plays, my track record places me in the top 1% of mastering engineers worldwide.
Muso.AI counts reflect combined streams and video plays (excluding Apple Music).
At the bottom of each page, you’ll find playlists featuring the artists I’ve mastered — a living snapshot of the music I’ve helped bring into the world.
That same attention to detail is the foundation of The Wright Balance Method: an approach grounded in musicality, emotional clarity, and translation across all playback systems. I also contribute articles to Sound On Sound, SonicScoop, and Production Expert, exploring the craft and psychology of finishing music.
I’m deeply touched by the dozens of five-star reviews I’ve received. This work means everything to me.
I run a truly independent business: no booking agents, no studio assistants—just me, fully focused on your music. I believe working directly with your mastering engineer is one of the most important ways to bring your vision to life.
I can’t wait to hear what you’ve created and help you bring it across the finish line with care and confidence.
